Upon initial installation, the unit will run continuously for the first few days until the humidity level in the room has lowered significantly from the original level of humidity.

The only drawback for it is that it can emit a noise that is slightly louder than an oscillating fan so you might not want to place this in your bedroom if you’re a light sleeper.
